Directed by Adina Pintilie | 2018

With Laura Benson, Tómas Lemarquis, Christian Bayerlein

Winner of the Golden Bear at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, the bold debut from Adina Pintilie is a deeply human exploration of intimacy and desire. Blending documentary and narrative, Touch Me Not charts a woman’s journey to overcome her anxieties around physical intimacy through encounters with sex-positive activists and sex workers. What plays out is a thoughtful, empathic consideration of marginalized bodies and identities rarely depicted onscreen.
