Though critically maligned upon its release, this oddball whiteface farce—in which two black FBI agents (Shawn & Marlon Wayans) go undercover as blonde white women in order to protect a pair of mega-wealthy heiresses—deserves a second look for the way it plays daringly with the signifiers and stereotypes of early 2000s whiteness, from Juicy Couture to Maroon 5 to Terry Crews bopping along to Vanessa Carlton.
