Before he ushered in a DIY cinematic revolution with Night of of the Living Dead (and for a while after), Romero worked as a commercial filmmaker, directing television advertisements, political campaign spots, and industrial films through his Pittsburgh-based production company, Latent Image. Showcasing work Romero produced for local clients like Irony City Beer and US Steel along with his 1974 documentary O.J. Simpson: Juice on the Loose, produced by Richard P. Rubinstein, this program of early rarities finds a master filmmaker sharpening his craft on the job.
