Suburbia
- 7PM
Having introduced the world to LA’s punk underground in her legendary documentary The Decline of Western Civilization, Penelope Spheeris delved further into the world of wayward youth with this gritty drama about a band of runaway teenagers (among them Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea) who set about creating their own makeshift family of misfits. Driven by raw fury and deeply felt compassion, Suburbia is a blistering rebel yell from the restless edges of Reagan-era America.
