Part of Film 2019 series NYC Horror
Directed by Wes Craven | 1995

With Eddie Murphy, Angela Bassett, Allen Payne

Eddie Murphy teamed up with horror legend Wes Craven for this offbeat lark in which he plays a Caribbean Nosferatu roaming the streets of Kings County as he sets out to seduce Angela Bassett’s NYPD detective over to the dark side. Though it was largely dismissed upon its release, Vampire in Brooklyn has since won fans as the rare horror comedy to deliver laughs as effectively as chills.
