This gripping documentary follows a group of Congolese high-school students as they prepare to take the state exam in the Democratic Republic of Congo. With unique insight, director Dieudo Hamadi captures them from the benches of the school they’re regularly ejected from because they haven't paid the fees unfairly inflicted upon them, to the communal house where they gather to study, to the chaotic city streets of Kisangani where they try to find a living.
