- 7PM
An aspiring NYC actress-turned-phone-sex-operator, called Girl 6, struggles and slides between reality and fantasy in this 1996 Spike Lee joint with a soundtrack by Prince. With a screenplay by Suzan-Lori Parks—who went on to write the Pulitzer- winning play Topdog/Underdog—the film stars Theresa Randle in a role that arcs from innocent to bold, with appearances by Lee, Isaiah Washington, Naomi Campbell, Madonna, and other big names.
