Dead Centre

BAM DEBUT
Shakespeare had a son named Hamnet. He was 11 when he died. A tragedy that passed as barely a footnote in history. This is our chance to hear from him.
Irish theater company Dead Centre grapples with the shadows that surround a spotlight. This stunning play puts a boy on center stage—an unassuming embodiment of tragedy, mortality, legacy, and longing—whose destiny is not to be.
