Ages 10—11

Participants learn a variety of animation techniques to create a series of short projects under the guidance of instructors from the Museum of the Moving Image. The workshop culminates with a final project—written, designed, and animated by students working collaboratively in small production teams—to be shared with family and friends.

PARTICIPANTS WILL:
• Learn the basics of motion picture science
• Learn the value of teamwork & collaboration
• Learn a variety of animation techniques

Bio 
Molmol Kuo  
 
Molmol Kuo is a teaching artist at BAM and the Queens Museum, and a partner at YesYesNo Collective. She uses new media, moving images, robotics, and interactive sculpture to tell stories and break down the barrier between human and object. Her background is in documentary filmmaking.
