Oily Cart
Presented by BAMkids and LC Kids

Inspired by Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, this innovative theater piece takes children on a voyage of discovery through landscapes of Shakespeare’s imagination and the music of his language. When a shepherdess and her flock of little sheep discover a lost baby, the audience must join in the search for the child’s family, a journey that will take them through the forest and across the sea. Full of scents, textures, colors, and songs, this immersive sensory experience is sure to delight and inform younger audiences about the power of their own imaginations.

To better support the needs and enjoyment of neural atypical audience members, some dates of In a Pickle will be relaxed performances. Modifications will include elimination of blackouts and sudden theatrical cues; maintaining moderate house lighting through the performance; lowering the overall volume of sound elements; allowing for audience vocalization and movement; and allowing for patron exits and entrances whenever needed.
