Irish-born writer Joseph O’Neill is the author of the novels This Is The Life, The Breezes, the PEN/Faulkner Award-winning Netherland, and, most recently, The Dog, which was nominated for the Man Booker Prize and Warwick Prize for Writing. A regular contributor to The Atlantic, O’Neill has also contributed to The New York Times, New York Magazine, and Harper’s, and authored the non-fiction work and New York Times notable book Blood-Dark Track: A Family History. He lives in New York and teaches at Bard College.
