Singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles celebrates the launch of her new book, Sounds Like Me: My Life (so far) in Song, a candid collection of essays in which the five-time Grammy-nominated artist explores her life in song. Sharing her creative process as well as revealing both the joy and struggle that come with creating great work while staying true to yourself, Bareilles reveals the wisdom, vulnerability, and wit behind the chart-topping artist.
The evening will include a performance and book signing by Bareilles.

Sara Bareilles is a five-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, who is known by her fans around the world for her warmly intimate voice, naturally melodic songs about heartache and resilience, and the spirited, anything-goes nature of her live performances. The self-taught pianist first broke through with her 2007 hit “Love Song,” and her five albums have sold a collective 2.5 million copies, spawning such hits as “King of Anything,” “Uncharted,” and “Brave,” the latter from the 2013 Album of the Year Grammy contender The Blessed Unrest.

His current project is the release of a new album – “So There” – featuring his critically acclaimed concerto for piano & orchestra, along with new "chamber rock" pop songs recorded with Brooklyn-based yMusic. A member of the Nashville Symphony Board and Artist Committee for Americans for the Arts, Folds is an advocate for music therapy & music education.
