Some of the best hip-hop MCs and poets from Brooklyn and beyond gather once again for this electrifying annual showcase, now in its 15th year, hosted by beloved longtime host and director Baba Israel. In these powerful, galvanizing performances, audiences discover how the political becomes poetic, and vice versa.
Performers include: Poet/Emcee Mumu Fresh; Poets La Bruja, Timothy DuWhite, and Gabriel Ramirez; Musician Yako440; DJ Reborn; Dancers: BRAT and Rocka Jamez, and Youth poets Ahmed Abbasy, Jovannie Smith, Juliana Theolin, Saquan Wooden, Jenel Marcelle, and Tamia McArthur.
