The best hip-hop MCs and poets from Brooklyn and beyond gather once again in an electrifying showcase of spoken word, storytelling, music, and dance. Beloved host and director Baba Israel guides audiences through a dynamic program featuring some of New York’s finest, including Nejma Nefertiti, Peggy Robles Alvarado, Circa ’95, and Dizzy Senze, as well as internationally acclaimed Dutch choreographer and dancer Nedda Sou. This year’s theme, Border/less, explores the differences that shape us, the borders that divide us, and how to break those barriers down. What if everywhere could be home?
