Singer and pianist Davell Crawford performs soul-stirring ballads in the gospel and blues tradition that evoke the best of Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles. With his outsided personality, Crawford has been dubbed the “Prince of New Orleans” by the city’s former mayor and was recently seen at BAM as a featured guest star in Dr. John’s 2012 performances.
