Co-presented by Exile On Broadway and CBGB in conjunction with the 2014 Next Wave Festival production of Exposed: Songs for Unseen Andy Warhol Films

“In her remarkable—and howlingly funny—portrayal of Nico, the 1960s chanteuse and muse to musical greats of the time, the singer and performance artist Tammy Faye Starlite is both vividly present and somehow barely there.”
—The New York Times

Uncannily channeling the Warhol superstar, Velvet Underground vocalist, and pop-culture icon Nico, cabaret artist Tammy Faye Starlite’s uproarious one-woman show is part deadpan satire, part affectionate homage to a one-of-a-kind personality. Starlite covers the German-born singer’s husky-voiced ballads and inhabits her icy, larger-than-life persona in mock interviews, resulting in a totally unique evening of entertainment that captures the beguiling strangeness that was at the heart of Nico’s allure.
