“Parker is restlessly inventive.”
—DownBeat Magazine

The thrillingly original jazz saxophonist and composer Matt Parker gets “a warmly swinging showcase for his breathy, Ben Webster-esque flow” (Time Out New York). Alongside fellow virtuosos Steve Whipple on bass and Shirazette Tinnin on drums, Parker unleashes a one-of-a-kind sound that connects stylistic dots between greats Lester Young and Rahsaan Roland Kirk. The trio takes the stage with special guest Emily Braden on vocals at BAMcafé fresh from the release of Parker's new album, Present Time.
