Singer-songwriter Simi Stone makes refreshingly sunny, soulful pop complete with catchy hooks, bouncy beats, and a touch of classic Motown. A fixture on the indie-folk scene as a member of the bands Suffrajett and the Duke and the King, she has performed alongside artists like David Byrne, Natalie Merchant, the New Pornographers, and Conor Oberst. Her effortless, breezy sound and totally-at-ease stage presence makes for perfect summer listening.
