“The trio had the sweaty drive of a up-all-night Crescent City dance hall.”
—NPR

Named after the mulatto commander Louis Delgrès who gave his life fighting the return of slavery to the French Caribbean colonies, Parisian trio Delgres gives raucous voice to their ancestors, slaves from the island of Guadeloupe who found refuge in New Orleans. Performing contemporary Creole blues with an African flair, Delgres gets crowds intoxicated on their rollicking, hypnotic rock sound.
