Mykal Rose, the Grammy Award-winning voice formerly of Black Uhuru is an R&B and neo-soul artist. In Kingston, Jamaica in the early 70s, Mykal Rose (then Michael) got his start opening for Roberta Flack and playing with Fab 5 and other hotel showbands. As lead vocalist, he and other Black Uhuru members won reggae's first Grammy award for the album Anthem in 1984.
NYC soul artist duendita will open for Mykal Rose, her latest release is bio (pronounced “bee-yo")—an "existential dance song,” in her words.

Tennessee-bred singer-songwriter Valerie June brings her blend of folk, soul, gospel, country, blues, psychedelia, and symphonic pop to Brooklyn, sharing music from her latest full-length, The Moon and Stars.
