Beloved cultural satirist Fran Lebowitz and longtime journalist and commentator Frank Rich come together for an evening of sparkling conversation about everything from race and gender to culture and politics.
Purveyor of urban cool, witty chronicler of the “me decade,” and the cultural satirist many call the heir to Dorothy Parker, Fran Lebowitz is the author of the bestselling essay collections Metropolitan Life and Social Studies and the children’s book Mr. Chas and Lisa Sue Meet the Pandas. She recently broke a 10-year writer’s block and is back at work on her novel Exterior Signs of Wealth.

Frank Rich is a journalist and cultural and political commentator best known for his distinguished career as a columnist at The New York Times and its chief drama critic from 1980 to 1994. In 2011 he joined New York magazine as a writer-at-large. Rich has authored several books and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. He is a creative consultant at HBO and an executive producer of the Emmy-nominated comedy series Veep and the Peabody Award-winning documentary Six by Sondheim.
