Co-presented by BAM and Aperture
With Ethan James Green and collaborators Dara Allen, Marcs Goldberg, and Matt Holmes
Moderated by Michael Schulman

Photographer Ethan James Green is joined by three of his subjects and collaborators for a discussion about beauty, portraiture, and the legacies of queer and trans representation 50 years after the Stonewall uprising. Green’s monograph, Young New York, is a collection of striking black-and-white portraits of the city’s queer scene-makers, a gloriously diverse cast of models, artists, designers, nightlife icons, and gender binary-flouting muses to the fashion world and beyond.

New Yorker contributor and arts and culture writer Michael Schulman moderates this wide-ranging conversation.
