Nimbus presents Hollow Square

With live music by Tim Eriksen
Samuel Pott, artistic director of Nimbus Dance Works, collaborates with Grammy-nominated vocalist Tim Eriksen on a new world premiere work. Eriksen, called “one of the best singers in music” by T Bone Burnett, contributes his distinctive and haunting sound to Pott’s choreographic rumination on unseen bonds: dancer to dancer and dancer to audience.
The evening also features a vibrant new work by Philadanco alum Dawn Marie Bazemore:The After Party, which pays tribute to jazz greats Nina Simone and Nancy Wilson. And Nimbus revisits two pieces from 2018: Dew Point 68, by Darshan Singh Bhuller, and The Glare From These Horizons, by Pott.
