What is included in my ticket for Teknopolis?

A regular ticket (ages 9 and up) for Teknopolis offers timed-entry sessions with access to all interactive installations on the main and lower levels of the BAM Fisher and immersive VR and 360-degree film experiences on the upper levels of the BAM Fisher.

A child ticket (ages 6—8) for Teknopolis includes all of the above with the exception of the VR experiences on the fourth floor.

Can I come in before my purchased time?

Sessions will start promptly at their scheduled start time. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to check in and get instructions in order to maximize your experiences. Considering the number of experiences, it may not be possible to see everything in a single visit.

Will there be amenities?

There will be no concessions sold and no outside food allowed during Teknopolis. A complimentary coat-check will be available on the lower level.

What is the suggested age for Teknopolis?

Ages 6 to 8 for Teknopolis (no VR) and ages 9 and up for Teknopolis (includes VR). We also require adult supervision for any children under 12 and recommend one adult per young child (under age 8).

No children under the age of 9 will be allowed to participate in the VR experiences on the fourth floor. The majority of the work is made of sensitive materials and technology that could be easily damaged if misused. Kids under 9 naturally engage in modes of touch and play that might have a negative impact on the installations. Also, particularly for younger kids, some of the visuals can be overwhelming and overstimulating.

Are ticket exchanges allowed?

Yes, ticket exchanges are allowed, based on availability, and exchanges can only be honored for another session of Teknopolis. Standard exchange fees apply.
