La Belle et la Bête (Beauty and the Beast)
Created and directed by Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon
Created and written by Pierre Yves Lemieux
In this ravishing retelling of Beauty and the Beast from acclaimed creators Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon, actors interact seamlessly with breathtaking projected imagery to resurrect the darkness and sensuality of the original French fairy tale. A ghostlike horse charges through a tangled forest of thorns, a mirror breaks in an explosion of virtual glass, and a phantom moves in for his disembodied kiss, transforming an ageless story into a mercurial dream world charged with eroticism.
