Set against the backdrop of post-war Britain, John Osborne's modern classic conjures the seedy glamour of the old music halls for an explosive examination of public masks and private torment. Rob Ashford directs the legendary Kenneth Branagh (Royal Shakespeare Company, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) as bitter song-and-dance man Archie Rice. A stellar cast includes Sophie McShera (Downton Abbey) and Gawn Grainger (National Theatre).
