Virtual DanceAfrica 2021 Bantaba Submission
Submissions are now closed.
Calling dancers of all ages and folks who love to move! Participate in this year’s virtual Community Day Bantaba by submitting a video of you and your community dancing. This is an exciting opportunity for communities near and far to be a part of the DanceAfrica 2021 festivities. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
This is a non-competitive call for short films (2 minutes or less, please) of dances and dancers capturing the spirit of DanceAfrica with the energy of a bantaba, or dance circle. Once we have received all submissions, the films will be edited together to stream on May 30 as part of the festival, connecting dancers and communities from all over.
Submissions accepted through May 14.
