BAM is proud to present Brooklyn-based artist Letha Wilson as the 2018 Winter/Spring Season BAMbill cover artist. Wilson combines unique photographs with cement and steel to transform flat images into rich reliefs, yielding wall-hung pieces with a tremendous physicality. Letha Wilson  

Letha Wilson was born in Hawaii and raised in Colorado, and she currently lives and works in Brooklyn. She received a BFA from Syracuse University, and an MFA from Hunter College. Her work has been shown at MASS MoCA, Art in General, DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Bronx Museum of the Arts, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, and International Center for Photography, and has been reviewed in Artforum, Art in America, The New York Times, and The New Yorker, among others.
