Celebrating 17 seasons of thought-provoking exhibitions under the leadership of Joseph V. Melillo, this group show brings together artists who reevaluate the history of material culture—presenting installation, painting, and sculptural works that speak to a mystical, transcendent, and visionary future.

Towards a New Archaeology features work by Amy Brener, Leeza Meksin, Sheila Pepe (NWA’02), Ioanna Pantazopoulou, Ester Partegàs (NWA’09), Jean Shin (NWA’07), and Rachel Eulena Williams.

Leadership support for BAM Visual Art provided by Agnes Gund and Toby Devan Lewis
