Our free after-school dance workshop is back! This year’s program is led by Tamara Thomas, one of BAM’s DanceAfrica Teaching Artists, and features workshops led by Alvin Ailey Teaching Artist Nasha Thomas and the Song and Dance Company of Mozambique. Young people can join fellow dancers in exploring process and technique—and experience performances by world-class dance makers on BAM’s iconic stages!

All students must complete an online application and a phone or Zoom interview in order to be considered for the program. At least one year of dance experience is required. BAM will cover the cost of performance tickets, dinner, and MetroCards on days of performances. This is a free program.
