BAM’s Young Producers are a group of patrons who share a unique passion for BAM programming and play an integral part in supporting BAM’s work.
Young Producers serve as a model for the next generation of supporters, while enjoying all the benefits of the BAM Patron Program. They also have access to several exclusive behind the scenes events throughout the year, including intimate receptions with BAM’s artists, backstage tours, and VIP access to the opening night celebration of BAMcinemaFest. Additional social events are planned on an ongoing basis to give Young Producers plenty of opportunities to network and share their BAM experiences with likeminded patrons.
In the fall of 2012, Young Producers held their first annual benefit, which helped to underwrite a commissioned performance for the opening of the BAM Fisher. The following year the annual benefit celebrated the opening of Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of King Lear with Frank Langella. In June 2014 the first annual Young Producers Next Wave Preview party was held on the roof of the BAM Fisher, and in December later that year the group hosted the opening night celebration for Gabriel Kahane’s The Ambassador.
