Beloved artist, illustrator, and author Maira Kalman has generously partnered with Julie Saul Projects and BAM to release a new edition to benefit BAM’s artistic and educational programs.
Maira Kalman has been making sense of everyday life through her extraordinary vignettes for over 30 years. Her pared-down imagery finds the beauty and humor in the human experience. Kalman’s work has been exhibited at the Jewish Museum in New York, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, and Julie Saul Gallery in New York, and on BAM’s stage.
To inquire about purchasing this print please contact Arianna Mastro at amastro@bam.org or purchase directly here.
Read a recent interview with Kalman, who describes in detail how this benefit edition came to be, on the BAM blog.
