Caregivers and children alike deepen their engagement with DanceAfrica in this fun-filled, outdoor workshop led by BAM teaching artist and performance art education scholar, Dánice Jones on the fundamentals of Ghanaian movement and music.

All ages. Registration is required to attend this event. Walk-ups are welcome as space allows.

Dánice Jones
Dánice Jones is an experiential therapist whose extensive skills in artistic knowledge and mindful self-development guide others to trust the creator within. She holds a Masters in Psychology and a BFA in Dance. Featured on BAM's stages and in classrooms as an educator, percussionist, and movement researcher, Jones aims to expand the approaches of arts education, while making innovative interventions accessible for all.
