Take your love for the arts to the next level! Gear up for life after high school in this paid college, career, and life-readiness program. Get support with post high school plans, learn critical wellness practices to manage life’s transitions, and go behind-the-scenes at BAM to discover what it takes to create a fulfilling career in the arts—all while building community.
KEY DATES
Schedule: This program runs in three sessions: Summer 2022, Fall 2023, and Spring 2023. The Summer session meets virtually with potential for select in-person meetings and/or events. Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 program formats are to be determined.
Application Deadline: June 2023
QUALIFICATIONS
● Must be a rising senior attending a high school in one of the five New York boroughs (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens, and the Bronx)
● Interest in the arts, such as visual art, performance, media, design, literary arts, or arts professions
● Willingness to collaborate and learn with others
● An overall GPA of 2.0 or higher
● An unofficial high school transcript
● Must have NYC Employment Certificate (working papers)
