Virtually unseen for the past 20 years, this heartwarming documentary follows legendary Jewish butch lesbian folk singer Phranc as she embarks on a surprising new career: Tupperware salesperson.
Eldorado, a fictitious country that not so subtly resembles Brazil, is buzzing with the internal struggle for political power. In the eye of this storm, a jaded journalist named Paulo opposes two equally corrupt political candidates: a pseudo populist and a conservative. Paulo finds himself torn between the madness of the elite and the blind submission of the masses in this pillar of the Brazilian Cinema Novo movement from legendary director Glauber Rocha.
