- Part of
- Corporate Thrillers and
- BAM Film 2025
Directed by Roger Spottiswoode (1997)
With
Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce, Michelle Yeoh, Teri Hatcher
In Pierce Brosnan’s second turn as Bond, Rupert Murdorch-esque media mogul Elliot Carver (Pryce) has sinister plans to use his empire to fuel flames of war between the Western world and China. Thankfully, a suave British spy is on to the malevolent tycoon’s evil plot, travelling to China to foil his plan with the help of secret agent Wai Lin (Yeoh, in her first Hollywood performance). Roger Spottiswoode directs this eerily prescient 90s entry into the 007 corpus.
