The Monkey

NEW RELEASE
    Part of
  • BAM Film 2025
Directed by Osgood Perkins (2025)
With Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell, Sarah Levy

After twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths that happen every time the toy beats its drum tears their family apart. The boys drift apart after disposing of the toy, but when the monkey reappears 25 years later, the estranged brothers reunite to halt its new killing spree. Based on a Stephen King short story and produced by James Wan (The Conjuring, Saw), this comically gory feature from writer/director Osgood Perkins (Longlegs) has already set new viewership records for an indie horror-film trailer.
