Ilana Glazer comes to BAM for one night only as part of the New York Comedy Festival! Glazer is known for creating and co-starring in the critically-acclaimed Comedy Central series Broad City. Her debut stand-up special, The Planet is Burning, was released on Amazon Prime in 2020, and her film False Positive, which she co-wrote and starred in, was produced by A24 and is available on Hulu. Glazer most recently appeared in the comedy series The Afterparty on Apple TV+. In addition to her writing, stand-up, and acting work, she co-founded the non-profit organization Generator Collective in 2016, which defines minimal civic engagement and aims to humanize policy through people-powered stories on social media.
