TECHNE: The Golden Key

Jan 8—Jan 11, 2025

BAM, Onassis and Under the Radar Present
TECHNE
Four Digital Installations
Curated by Onassis ONX

    Part of
  • Next Wave 2024 & Emerging Visions

“The Golden Key,” by Marc Da Costa and Matthew Niederhauser, immerses visitors in the mythical fantasies of an artificially intelligent machine as it composes a never ending story. The work imagines a future world that has endured the severest impacts of climate change. Winner of the Jury Award in the 2024 SXSW XR Experience competition, “The Golden Key” allows audiences to encounter and intervene in the new narrative and myth-making powers imagined for AI.

“The Golden Key” is a part of TECHNE, a program of four large-scale digital artworks curated by Onassis ONX, an initiative by Onassis Culture dedicated to the development of new media art and digital experiences.

Purchase a ticket to “The Golden Key,” or add tickets to all four installations to your cart to receive a discount.

Ticket holders can enter the installation any time during their selected time slot.

Presented in partnership with Under the Radar. Visit utrfest.org for more information.
