The Met: Live in HD FAQ

Why is The Met: Live in HD only screening in one theater this year?

In an effort to balance our robust cinema programming, including repertory screenings and first-run films, we have currently reserved one screen for The Met: Live in HD.

Are lectures being offered before each The Met: Live in HD screening?

Yes. Each screening features a pre-screening discussion.

Why is lecture access now included in all screenings for The Met: Live in HD?

Audiences have expressed their enjoyment with the lecture series in the past, so we are extending the opportunity to participate in them. The lecture is included in the ticket price, and attendance is optional.

Can I attend movies at BAM with a group?

Yes. Seating is general admission and there are no restrictions on the number of people in your party.

Is virtual film programming still available?

At this time, we are not offering virtual film programming.

I’m having trouble logging into my BAM account. Who can I ask for help?

Contact info@BAM.org for assistance. Please note, we now have two ticketing platforms, one for virtual programs and one for in-person movies. Both systems require distinct logins.

How can I support BAM?

By coming back to our spaces and supporting the art! Or engaging with our virtual offerings. You can also support BAM and all that we do by visiting BAM.org/support.
