Jumpstart your arts career while serving your community: The Creative Career Collective (CCC) empowers former BAM Education program participants who want to propel their artistic careers after high school.

Join BAM and other leading NYC arts organizations for an online, interactive arts fair and discover the perfect opportunity for your child’s next after-school experience.

This special virtual event just for teens includes a watch party of the 35th Annual Brooklyn Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. followed by an open space discussion.

Part of Education
Each virtual session features a high-definition video excerpt of a BAM performance, specifically chosen for its academic connections. Students deepen their understanding of the work and embrace their creativity through an interactive workshop led by a BAM teaching artist—streamed live. Virtual programs also include pre- and post-show activities provided in an online study guide.
Experience Senegal: Senegalese Dance and Music

Students celebrate traditional Senegalese movement styles and indigenous songs with this dance workshop that gets students moving and singing, led by experts in African dance.

Students explore spoken word, hip-hop, and classic literary forms in this dynamic poetry workshop, drawing inspiration from professional artists to create and share original works.

Students draw inspiration from contemporary poets in this spoken word program exploring arts and justice, writing original works dedicated to social change.
