For the fifth consecutive season, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to BAM, stitching another panel into a vibrant tapestry of collaboration that stretches back over five decades. Last year, the legendary company entered a new era under the leadership of Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack, captivating audiences with both vivid reimaginings of classic works and dynamic contemporary pieces. This season, Ailey returns again, delivering to Brooklyn audiences a thrilling showcase of world-class dancers, groundbreaking choreography, and a transformative reminder of dance’s power to not only move our bodies, but our hearts and minds.
