This festive evening celebrates some of our closest partners and helps raise funds to ensure BAM’s place as the home for adventurous artists, audiences, and ideas. Stay all night long or join for just a part—we’re offering two ticket packages so you can tailor your evening’s festivities.

Walter Mosley

Walter Mosley is an American author of more than 50 critically-acclaimed books including the the bestselling mystery series featuring, “Easy Rawlins.” His nonfiction and fiction works have been widely published and in 2013 he was inducted into the New York State Writers Hall of Fame. He is the winner of numerous awards, including an O. Henry Award, the Mystery Writers of America’s Grand Master Award, a Grammy®, and PEN America’s Lifetime Achievement Award. He was the keynote speaker for BAM's annual Tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. in 2011 and appeared as part of BAM’s Eat, Drink & Be Literary program in 2017.

Ethan Hawke

Ethan Hawke is a Tony® Award- and 4-time Academy Award®-nominated actor, writer, and director who has appeared onstage at BAM in The Cherry Orchard and The Winter’s Tale, and has participated in BAM Film panels and talks including Paul Schrader’s First Reformed. Some of his Broadway appearances include his Tony-nominated performance in The Coast of Utopia, plus Macbeth, and his filmography includes his Oscar-nominated performances in Boyhood and Training Day, and Richard Linklater’s trilogy—Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, and Before Midnight—for which he also received two Oscar nominations as co-screenwriter.

Neneh Cherry

Swedish singer-songwriter and hip-hop artist Neneh Cherry forged a groundbreaking mix of genres in the mid-to-late 80s that presaged the emergence of alternative rap and trip-hop and through the 2010s, has gradually added to a discography filled with similarly unpredictable twists. Among others she has collaborated with Robyn, Peter Gabriel, and Gorillaz, and made recordings with her band cirKus. She has made four studio albums to date, landing on charts around the world and winning international honors. Her latest album Broken Politics (2018), was produced by Grammy nominee Four Tet and has received critical acclaim.

William I. Campbell is vice chairman of the BAM Board of Trustees and currently serves as president of Sanoch Management. He was most recently chairman of Chase Card Services at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Christine Wächter-Campbell serves on the Visual Art Committee of the BAM Board of Trustees and is the co-owner of Winston Wächter Fine Art, a contemporary art gallery and consulting firm based in New York and Seattle.
