World-class acrobats dance, leap, and dazzle in this colorful creation, performing authentic choreography from Guinea accompanied live by musicians on traditional instruments such as the kora, djembe, and various kinds of percussion. Founded by Yamoussa Bangoura, a multidisciplinary artist of Guinean origin, Cirque Kalabanté brings together circus arts, African dance, and music from West Africa into one unforgettable experience.
Each performance includes a hands on pre- or post-show workshop lasting approximately 45- minutes, led by a BAM teaching artist at no additional cost!
