From Tony Award®-winning visionary Julie Taymor and Pulitzer Prize finalist and Academy Award-winning composer Elliot Goldenthal comes The Grand Delusion, a transporting and erotic musical fantasy laced with danger and devilish humor.
Brought vividly to life through Taymor’s breathtaking stagecraft and featuring an international cast of musicians, dancers, actors, and singers, The Grand Delusion combines propulsive choreography, immersive design, evocative puppetry, and an electrifying score to create a theatrical world as extraordinary as the story it tells.
Set across contemporary New York City, India, and a magical, mythical plane, The Grand Delusion blurs the boundaries of time, space and culture as the impossible begins to happen. An intoxicating modern-day fairy tale, it’s a moving love story for anyone searching for the perfect match.
How do you get it all rolled up into one person?
