The Window
In this taut suspense thriller directed by Hitchcock-protégé Ted Tetzlaff, young Tommy (child star Bobby Driscoll, who received a special miniature Oscar for this role) has a bad habit of lying, which gets him in trouble when he claims to have seen a murder in a neighboring apartment. Realizing that he won't get any help from his parents (Hale and Kennedy) or the law, the boy must figure out a way to save himself from being shut up permanently by the murderers.
