Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire) and writer Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Civil War) reunite for the long-awaited follow up to their 2002 zombie horror sensation 28 Days Later. Three decades after the Rage virus escaped a biological weapons lab, one group of survivors has adapted to life on a small island. But when one leaves on a mission into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers secrets, wonders, and horrors that have mutated not only the infected but other survivors as well.
