Iris has met her perfect guy, Isaac, and is enjoying their first romantic getaway together… what could go wrong? Plenty, it turns out, as this clever, charmingly odd dark comedy takes on the highs and lows of modern dating and the ways it makes us all a little crazy—and sometimes maybe not just a little. A fizzy mash-up of meet cute and Misery, the sophomore feature by writer-director Sophie Brooks (The Boy Downstairs) is buoyed by an effervescent performance from Molly Gordon as Iris.
