Directed by Terry Gilliam (1985)
With Jonathan Pryce, Robert De Niro, Katherine Helmond, Ian Holm, Bob Hoskins, Michael Palin, Ian Richardson, Peter Vaughan, Kim Greist
New 4K restoration of the director’s cut.

In an eerie, disturbing future world, a government clerk finds his life destroyed when he tries to correct an administrative error that caused a massive chain reaction of mistaken identity. Despite his efforts, he finds himself an enemy of the state. Terry Gilliam’s black comedy was deemed too bleak for US distributors, who pushed for a happy ending to the film, but the director’s daring vision has endured.
