Bulcsú (Sándor Csányi) is a ticket inspector who spends his entire life in the oppressively gray Budapest subway system, where he coexists and sometimes competes with a peculiar circle of coworkers. When he meets the bear-suited Zsófi (Eszter Balla)—daughter of one of the veteran metro drivers—Bulcsú begins to think there might be something better awaiting aboveground. But first, he and his comrades have to work out why passengers are jumping to their deaths on the tracks—or who it is that’s pushing them. Hungarian indie-electronic band Neo scored the film with a kinetic blend of industrial, trip-hop, and big beat sounds.
